Dash Kruck
Dash Kruck is an award winning actor, vocalist, cabaret artist, director and host, in demand by performing arts companies across Australia and internationally. As a director, he has worked with organisations such as Hayes Theatre Co, September Remedy Productions, Woodward Productions, NIDA, QUT, Oscar Theatre Co, The Actor’s Conservatory, and 4MBS. He recently developed and directed the sell out, critically acclaimed hit, Plied & Prejudice which is about to enjoy re-mounts in multiple cities both nationally and internationally. Dash was nominated for Best Director at the Sydney Theatre Awards for his work on The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Hayes Theatre Co. His national tour of Friends! The Parody Musical saw sold out houses right around the country. As a writer, Dash has created highly successful plays and cabarets including I Might Take My Shirt Off (Winner: Best Musical or Cabaret) which has enjoyed critically acclaimed seasons across Australia. His collaborative work on A Tribute of Sorts was honoured with 4 awards including Best New Australian Work and Best Independent Production and was subsequently bought and programmed by the state theatre company (QTC). Dash continues to create new work for companies in Australia and overseas.
