
Nancy Denis
Nancy is a multi-disciplinary artist of Haitian-Australian descent who began her career as a child performer in Annie the Musical. Her film and TV roles include Cleverman (ABC), 600 Bottles of Wine (Netflix) and Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby. In 2022, Nancy made her Sydney Theatre Company debut in Blithe Spirit, followed by A Raisin In The Sun, also for STC, and in 2023, Nancy played the titular role in Clyde’s for The Ensemble Theatre and performed in Zombies- The Musical at Hayes Theatre. Nancy has also written and performed Ma’p Boulé, a play with songs about her Haitian ancestry, in collaboration with Urban Theatre Project. Ma’p Boulé debuted in 2022 at Darlinghurst Theatre and Nancy has toured widely around Australia with the production. Nancy is also a visual artist and was awarded an Artist in Residency placement with Red Rattler Theatre.
