
Tim Paige
Tim Paige is an Actor, Singer, MC and Director based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.
Tim is an International Fellow of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and has worked at some of Australia’s largest theatre companies including Bell Shakespeare, Melbourne Theatre Company and Pop Up Globe.
As a director for Bell Shakespeare Tim has recently worked on Tamburlaine The Great and Timon of Athens (Play in a Day).
He was the resident director for Pop Up Globe on their Sydney and Melbourne seasons working across 10 shows respectively. He also assistant directed Around The Globe in 60 Minutes for the Melbourne season and travelled to New Zealand where he assistant directed The Comedy of Errors, alongside Dr Miles Gregory. Whilst at PUG Tim appeared in seven productions across the Melbourne and Sydney seasons as an understudy.
For Melbourne Theatre Company, Tim Assistant Directed As You Like It alongside Simon Phillips. He also completed a Directorial Secondment on Shakespeare In Love whilst at MTC.
Tim has a passion for musical theatre having studied Voice at The Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music, this lead Tim to direct the world premiere of Villainy – The Musical at the MC Showroom and Billy Thorpe and Leigh at The Alex Theatre, which focussed on the life and songs of the legendary entertainer and was described a ‘charming production’ by Stage Whispers.
