Rowena Mohr – Director/Senior Agent
Rowena has over 30 years experience within the arts industry – as an actor, director, producer, author and agent. She has worked extensively in television, theatre and film, both in Australia and the UK, and understands the life of the performer from personal experience – which is why she now tends to avoid the pointy end of cameras as a matter of survival. Rowena’s performing credits include “Neighbours”, “Carson’s Law” and “Death of a Soldier” and she is the author of two books for Young Adults.
As Director and Senior Agent at BMEG, Rowena is particularly passionate about nurturing up and coming young talent and has launched the international careers of actors such as Brenton Thwaites, Stef Dawson and Mitchell Hope. With co-Director Mary-Ann Vale, she is building a strong stable of actors and Music Theatre performers all over Australia with the ultimate goal of facilitating the access of local performers to the US.

Raquel has been in love with the performing arts her whole life. Her career began with dance, which she studied at The Queensland Dance School of Excellence (QDSE) and later at the Victorian College of Arts (VCA). Raquel became intrigued with acting and traveled to London when she was accepted into Rose Bruford College. During her time there she achieved a first-class BA (Hons) in Acting. Raquel has leveraged both her dancing and acting skills and has performed professionally in Europe and Australia.
For the past two years, Raquel has been part of the BMEG team in a casual role and as an acting coach. She hopes to provide common sense advice along with sensitive and creative guidance for performers who want to master their craft. She is thrilled to now consolidate all of her experience as the Commercial Agent with BMEG.
