Guy Langford
Guy is a screenwriter, playwright, and composer, who trained at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School and international theatre school École Philippe Gaulier, Paris. For television, Guy’s penned screenplays for iconic live-action superhero franchise Power Rangers (with multiple episodes of the Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury seasons on Netflix), as well as New Zealand’s longest-running serial drama Shortland Street. His playwriting credits include Moira’s Wheel of Fortune, WANNABE, and several plays for children. As a composer, Guy has written multiple musical parodies for TVNZ, and Shortland Street – The Musical (which Guy wrote and composed) premiered at Auckland Theatre Company, before enjoying subsequent productions by various professional and amateur theatre companies across New Zealand.
