Jem Splitter
Jem is an emerging Melbourne-based screenwriter and director, specialising in genre television with a unique voice and sharp, character-based humour.
Jem’s original pilots – live-action black comedy DISPLACED and kids’ animated sci-fi SPACE ON EARTH – have each won several placements in respected international screenplay competitions, including being shortlisted for the AWG’s John Hinde Award.
Jem has also been successfully funded by Screen Australia, VicScreen, and the Community Broadcasting Foundation for his web series currently in development, with production and release expected in late 2024.
